Job description
Based in our main office in Corsham and reporting to the Purchasing Line Manager and/or Senior Purchaser, the individual’s main responsibilities will be the sourcing of materials, raising of purchase orders, communication with our suppliers and coordinating the associated inward bound logistics for purchased materials with both transport companies and other internal departments. The role will involve achieving shared team objectives and the opportunity to learn and take ownership of personal tasks and
goals. The individual’s work will help to maintain or improve our purchase costs, reduce lead times and reduce purchasing risk, ultimately contributing to the continued growth of our business and meeting our customer’s needs.
Requirements and qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated and well organised individual to help towards our company's continued growth. The individual should possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate diligence in their work as well as being comfortable communicating with both suppliers and transport providers, located in various countries around the world. Whilst not essential, any scientific background or chemistry knowledge would be beneficial.
