Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) is an antiseptic that has many applications as a biocide / disinfectant. A broad spectrum bactericidal and fungicidaI agent, it causes disruption of intermolecular interactions and dissociation of phospholipid bilayers.
Note: Other components are ethanol (~10%) and water (~8%)
